While at work recently I had to draw The Little Mermaid a whole bunch, and it made me really want to see a healthy, inter-species relationship with a mermaid and a human. No body modification necessary!

There is soooo much I love about this! The expressions of the surfer girl's face and body. The posing of the mergirl's torso and arms (and how her back is turned to us! I love that!). The shadows on the sand. The motion of the surf. The way the mermaid's hair is wrapping her left arm. The kickin' swimsuit. The membranous look of the mermaid's tail fin. So much going on in a lovely, simple but detailed way in this. You're amazing.
